Recent guest reviews

Room said it would come with a microwave. I called the front desk they said it would be a more expensive room if we wanted a microwave. Did not provide enough towels. They gave left over shampoo and conditioner bottles instead of providing new ones. No hand soap. Air conditioner made a really loud sound every time it runs.

Motel is fine except the pool area is closed and has been closed for a while. This fact was not disclosed on any website I checked before booking. Why not? Sadly this affects my opinion of the Marriott properties as a whole.

Overbooked with baseball players and did not have a room for us. After driving 9 hours from PA to Charlotte were told we were in the hotel across the street but only for 1 night of the 2 we paid for. We attended a funeral the next day so were not able to check out of that hotel and back into the Marriott so had to pay twice for the second night and manager would not even return phone calls.

1. The hotel was not clean, it was dark and the cleaning staff was highly unprofessional. When cleaning and my family passed, I said good morning; they did not acknowledge me, but continued on with their conversation including the use of profanity. 2. Specifically booked for indoor pool; was not informed by person or website that we had to book in advance. The kids were unable to swim due to the pool staying full. 3. Could not access internet (even after 30 min of front desk trying to help) 4. Air conditioning did not work and no one was there to fix it. 5. They couldn't even provide basic amenities such as coffee; almost zero options for breakfast. 5. Sheets were not provided for pullout bed - security guard had to bring them up because cleaning left at 5:30. Was made to feel as if it were our fault we didn't have the sheets for a 5 person booking. We also had a hard time getting extra towels (only 2 were provided). Worst hotel experience ever. Stayed one night and found a much better place for the duration of our stay.

The property was marked as pet friendly but in-fact, it was not. We were charged $50 for bringing our small dog into the hotel, only to be told at 3am that we must vacate the premise or incur a $200 fine for having a pet in the building.

The staff was very friendly and helpful and the food was actually quite excellent!

Did not have a complimentary breakfast but I should learn to read. Enjoyed our stay.

My stay was good my fist night was a bit rough there was a football team in the room next door the next day front desk changed my room with out any hesitation, Thanks guys you made it work.

Hallways smelled like cigarette smoke as if smell was coming thru ventilation. Our first room had an overwhelming smell of bleach. It was very sickening. They moved us to a room on another floor which was much better. The next morning we were awakened by hammering from renovations on floor below. Overall the hotel was nice but I can say I have had much better stays elsewhere. The best thing was the dual showerhead. It was amazing.

there for a family outing/reunion and enjoyed every minute with family. Room was nice clean, but really needed handicapped bars by toilet and higher commode, unit was close to the floor, no bar to help get up. only other problem was a/c smelled of urine ...

We were in town for a family wedding. There was 6 rooms of us for the wedding. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Only suggestion I have is to put vents into the bathroom and offer a free breakfast buffet. The location was great to get to the wedding in Clover, SC. We did not use the pool, bur the other family member with children did.

Got up at 7am to see the toilet overflowing called and let them know came and got the water up but didnt even clean the bathroom.The plumber came and told me theycame and told me they had fault strippers on the toilet.

The hotel is beautiful to view....I expected our stay to be comfortable. The hotel did not appear to be busy. The restauant addition was very inept..so many complaints re: the poor service. Just ONE example: 4 people in the entire lounge...2 at our table, and they "forgot" one of our meals?? Whether at the counter or sitting at a table, there was always some confusion in completing an order. They never got it right-we finally ate elsewhere. As for the hotel, there were many issues, but the most important were: our room was not cleaned. Simple as that.....the floor, sink and tables were not touched, the bed sheets on top of the mattress, towels were bunched up, pillows just tossed on the bed....no cups left for coffee, just sloppy. Pool area/water dirty and chlorine very strong...unable to use. Guest information guide - out of date. Only two people introduced themselves: Lamour and Animine (spelling?) and along with the gentleman at the front desk were wonderful.On the last day, when speaking with the Manager, it seems there have been many changes for the staff and I do know how difficult transition can be. These complaints are minor, and I have previous stays with the Marriott Corp. that have been wonderful. I think there just needs to be more attention to detail.
