Plane was late so arrived at 130am, hotel all very dark, given room on 38th floor. Elevator was poor and was informed it was going to be repaired and out of service tomorrow. No acceptable to chance it when your on the 38th floor- suite didnt look that good. So I didnt stay and had to find any place at 2am...I would like a refund as the needed services (elevator) were not acceptable and the room was not good

Needs to scrape shower head or fix loose plumbing. Extermination of insects.

I prefer to stay at 4 and 5 star rated hotels/resorts and this stay was my worst experience so far in the years I have traveled to the Philippines. I wont book a future stay at that hotel, ever. Both showers did not have hot water. well one side (bathtub) did have but the shower head was broken. The bath lights (three) were out so it was pretty gloomy in the bath area. No wifi - I called downstairs for troubleshooting - three different attendants came up every two hours and did the same thing to no avail. Finally an IT person came up about 11pm and after attempting to revive the dead modem - told us he would go downstairs and have front desk room move us. Well he never returned and one hour later I called downstairs - the operator said she would send someone up to look at the wifi...LAUGH OUT LOUDER! I checked out the next day even though I was booked another night.=- moved to a 5 star hotel. It was also booked soild with a lot of foreign Asian nationals and a big group from northern Luzon. There are just 2 slow elevators and you would have to transfer to another if your room was above the 19th floor - which I was a part of - what a wait and both cars were full everytime - it took about 5 minutes to get from my 35th floor to the ground level over half the time.

Was not happy with my experience. I have stayed here before and the room was good but this room was horrible, even still had a tube tv! This hotel is too inconsistent for me to stay again

It's ok for last minute booking. Room was clean. Pleasant staff. Safe environment.

I've stayed at the Crown Regency 2 or 3 times before. It is a good property, located in Cebu City- nearby to fast food restaurants and convenience stores. Rooms are well maintained and breakfast buffet is decent. The Swimming Pool is excellent and the staff throughout are helpful and pleasant. Downside is that it's very busy on weekends and the main Tower only has two elevators often leading to waiting lines in the lobby. It's popularity also means that the Housekeeping staff can be overwhelmed by numbers of check-outs sometimes delaying room cleaning to the mid-afternoon. Altogether I will return on my next visit to cebu

I checked in hotel at midnight just after arrival in Cebu. But I had to wait about an hour until room is ready. I could bear it until I reached in front of room but my patience cannot be with me when I found the key was not working. So I went to lobby to change, the staff of hotel's front desk almost scolded me to go to room with another staff. Even the key he brought was not working and he used the master key to get in. Room was spacious and AC was not working and there's no remote control. I could see the finger sized cockroach everywhere, and rag on the floor with messed furniture. So I requested to change the room or refund the fee but they said it is impossible to change or refund with ridicule. They never apologied to me. After 2hours arguing, they finally made up another room. I reallized that they started making up the room after I claimed. It was a horrible experience with Cebu, with Philipine. I rarely write the review on hotels I satiesfied with but I cannot skip review on this hotel to prevent the victim from the hotel.

I have stayed in this hotel more than 20 times before, but somehow, the quality is changed, my recent stay, with 2 days, I have changed my room three times, first, I saw rat running around in the room and under the bed, then moved another room, no hot water, They wasted my time, that keep the water running, the hot water will come, lots excuses and lies, water run for straight 5 hours, no hot water showed up, changed the room, other room had relatively warm water again no hot water. The breakfast quality dropped signification.

I was impressed the first time I stayed in this hotel 2 years ago. This year was a different experience. We waited for almost 4 hrs before we got the room. The front desk said that they are still cleaning the room however when we checked it nobody was there and it was open. FD was busy and follow up was poor. One employee commented that she is so stressed and is sad because they are busy. Service was from Good to Poor. Buffet was not as clean as before too.

Very nice hotel. A bit more expensive than other hotels nearby but it was worth it. We were not able to try the pool which was in one of the top floors. The room was very clean and spacious. We had a little bit of problem with the AC but management did send someone to fix it immediately.

It's a good stay.nice veiw from our room.enternet mostly works at early in the morning but not on days.but conveniently located for most establisment.

we have to buy tissue papers, rent towels, every movement we have to pay. I made a deposit of P2,000.00 which supposed to cover everything. I checked out ahead of my sister since I have a midnight international flight but when my sister checked out in the morning they asked for the receipt I made. since I forgot to leave the receipt they asked my sister to pay again and will just return the money if we can produce the receipt again. Are they not supposed to have a copy of any payments they received from their guests. Why make life so difficult for the travellers?

The hotel location is good and everything in terms of amenities was decent. However, the wifi and service was left to be desired. The elevator system is often slow and irritating and as a result you need to have more time to get up to the hotel.

Crown Regency Hotel, Cebu City.. Yes, this is one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed!! 1. Very poor customer service! 2. No proper training with their housekeeping staff! (Explain INTEGRITY and HONESTY please?) 3. My girlfriend lost 4 of my lipsticks inside our hotel room. (Hmm, big deal? Not really. But the fact that we lost some of our stuff "inside" the room.. Hmm.. That's so aggravating!) 4. We felt that no one seemed to care about the issue, no sense of urgency and they can't even offer anything to compensate us about the trouble. 5. The hotel supervisors weren't even knowledgeable enough to analyze on how they can resolve our concerns. (Tsk. Too much of inefficiency, eh? Or maybe they just didn't care? Why? Was it because those are just lipsticks and not money? Lol!) 6. No complete actions were made. One of the supervisors told us that they will have the attendant put on a lie detector test as a part of their investigation and protocol. (Oh come on! Really? Spell, BS please? Hahaha!) We were also told that someone from the security team will pull up the CCTV recordings to investigate about the incident on that evening. (Wait, when? Lol! We never received any feedbacks.) 7. We didn't have bidet spray in the toilet, so we had to ask like 3 bathroom tissues from time to time. (Red alert. Women problems. Lol!) 8. The blowdryer, the sink, and the kettle boiler are defective. (Oh wait, how much did we pay for this hotel? Hmm. I know they're claiming that they are one of the best known hotels in Cebu City. Oh, sure! Uhm, can you spell "False advertisements" for me please?) 9. The elevator in the parking area was eerie and very stinky. (It literally smelled like a rotten urine, it was suffocating.) 10. I will not recommend anyone to try this hotel because it'll just be a waste of money.

It's got a lot of exciting things to do there. We got a free welcome drink but when we arrived upstairs they offered ice tea only.....kind of lame! I decided to pay more for a corner room but it was a terrible view of the wall. To get there I had to go up 1 elevator to the top....cross the hotel and take a different elevator to my floor. The Hot water and internet didn't work....I spent 1 night and complained. They tried to fix it and it took about 2 hours...finally I asked to switch rooms....1 person didn't want to. But then I complained....and I was quickly upgraded to a beautiful room at no extra charge. It was large, comfortable, everything worked....it made the next 2 nights really pleasant. So I guess some rooms are better than others. Overall the staff are really nice and it's a fun hotel. I think much better for families and so on.

disappointing stay
