Isolated hotel and beautiful beaches. The room cleaning was hit and miss, they forget something every day and bird crap all over the place.

The beach area was very unique. It was so shallow for several yards out and no heavy waves. The only downfall was the seasonal sea grass that we were not expecting. We were disappointed that it was not kept off the beach better but it was a short walk to Playa Norte beach with no sea grass. The staff were all so friendly and very eager to help. We never had a request denied. Food was very good and selections changed daily. Rooms were very well cleaned in a daily basis. Our room overlooked the deeper ocean side with waves crashing against the rocks and it was so peaceful.

Nancy - Elena - Frederico and Israel ( bartender) very very special person Congratulations to all God bless 🙏💕

The property was run down. Most of the restaurants were closed. Very limited food menu and very limited hours. They pushed very hard to join their time share, uncomfortably so. Inside the premises almost all of the furniture was heavily spilled and very stained. The concierge was less than helpful in scheduling any activities, half of which were not even running. On the beach they were reluctant or even refused to bring out an umbrella for us. Beach chairs were in short supply. They also refused to bring them off the stacked pile onto the beach. The beach towel hut was frequently unmanned or there were no towels. We had to hike up into the main lobby to the front desk to ask for towels or to return our towels if it was after 5. Every day but 1 of a 7 night stay there was no hot water. Not to mention sometimes no water pressure or no water at all in the shower. The staff did not leave washcloths in our room. Every day I had to call and request washcloths. Our mini fridge was not stocked. We had to ask for waters at the front desk several times during the day. This is truly only the beginning of a horrible all inclusive stay.

Beach and service excellent. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Food needs work.

The property is beautiful. The staff was very nice. There were a couple drawbacks: The internet did not work for the first two days, and we were only there Thursday evening to Monday morning. The last two days we had no hot water. We did report these things many times.

Breathtakingly beautiful resort. The staff were all so friendly, especially Reuben our beach waiter.

Loved the King’s pool, snorkeling and the friendliness of all the staff. Villas need some updating.

Great laid back all-inclusive resort with your own lagoon and snorkeling. Walk into town or relax by the beach! It's perfect.

The beaches and landscape are beautiful. It is a nice resort. Very simple not all the pins and whistles, but my husband and I were there to enjoy the beaches. Great snorkeling right off resort. Staff and resort were great. Food was basic buffet style. We would go back.

Most beautiful location. Expectacular beach. Can’t wait to return

The staff is very friendly but the rooms feel like a motel. They are not kept well. The first room smelled like laquer, i asked for a room change. The second room assigned was 2 times stronger smell of lacquer. The last room it smelled to humidity and the A/c was so loud! Overall the hotel was not 4 star it was 2 or 1 star or motel status. I would only recommend for friendly Staff and be done what good view but keep in mind this is more like a glorified motel.

Best staff, beautiful water, fun activities, will be returning

There isn’t enough space or words to completely describe the beauty of the resort and the views! Aside front the COVID limitations the MIA is fantastic! I proposed to my near future wife there. I cannot think of a more romantic place than on the pier at sunset! I’m looking forward to visiting again soon!!

We went to Mia Reef for the seclusion, it is at the tip of the island and has its own private beaches. there are reef fish right at the hotel and its still walking distance to restaurants and nightlife. We love that it was all-inclusive, we never had to worry about our meals, if we wanted to eat out we could but there was always something you can count on and that was nice! the staff was awesome! the shows were intimate and really well done! the only thing I can complain about is the cold showers but honestly, it was so hot it was refreshing! we loved it and we will definitely be coming back. you can rent anything you need from the hotel including a golf cart to go roam around the island. we felt so safe and we were well taken care of! we loved mia reef! Can you find better, sure but for the price it really was an awesome experiance!
