Beautiful property that is very close to all the activity on the island but nicely tucked away so it’s quiet at the end of the day. Nice clean rooms and great pools.

The location sells this property. Excellent pool over looks a small ocean cove that is minutes walk from North Beach. Hotel itself is okay but misses the mark with a ton of smaller things. Staff was less than friendly, no breakfast or daily housekeeping ...blaming it on Covid but every other hotel has both so that' not the reason. Pool has outdoor bar BUT never had a person working it. IF there would have been it is cash only...who carries cash to the pool! Door had only deadbolt lock so no way to close it and NOT lock it ...that sounds minor but if one person goes up to room everyone else it automatically locked out. Bathroom has small sign asking that you do not throw used TP in the toilet but into a waste can in restroom. (Very common in Mexico) BUT this trash can had no top or lid on it so you have 2 days or more of used TP in an open container. Traveled in Mexico extensively and I have NEVER seen "no lid" on these cans. Lots of electrical outlets is a good thing and a good A/C. No late check out. Overall this property has a great location but the staff was a real letdown. If you book through Orbitz you also get the worst "ocean view " room. Barely a peak a boo view and deep into the building (rooms sit at an angle to the ocean) Asked to move to another equal priced room that was empty and was denied. Desk reply they were more money but that was a lie as I discussed it with other guests. Note; In the pic hotel is middle prop

Upon arriving to the Hotel Media Luna, I was blown away by the peacefulness. The lobby was well decorated and tranquil. It was a super quiet and restful place to spend my last night in Cancun. The facility is tastefully remodeled and very clean. The bed was so comfy. I loved the ocean view from my room and balcony. The hammock was such a nice place for an afternoon nap. My only regret was that I couldn’t stay longer. I had coffee at the pool overlooking the ocean before I left to catch the ferry. It was a very relaxing experience.

This hotel was so beautiful and perfect!

This hotel was ideally located on a small beach and within a few minutes to walk to the beautiful North Beach and shops and restaurants. I really only saw the staff

Marvelous View!

1) The pool pump/filter was not on for at least 3 days leading to a murky pool. They had filled the pool to the top and the level dropped 5 inches in a matter of days....meaning they had a bad leak...and likely would be much worse if the pool pump was running and the lines were under pressure. Instead of fixing the leak, they just didn't turn on the pump/filter. 2) Photos of the beach/water in front of the hotel showed a calm sea. It is anything but calm. The surf is always rough with many hidden rocks. Swimming is literally PROHIBITED!

The location was great! We loved this hotel. It was beautiful, and the pools were great! We will be back!

I loved the view. We didn't need the hot tub on the balcony it was too hot. The pool was clean. Having fresh fruit and juice in our room was nice. We had hot water the first day but after that it was not hot. That was the only frustrating thing. It is a nice quiet hotel. A quick walk into the business or Norte beach.

Good water pressure nice room good staff. Pool could be cleaner

Lovely hotel by the beach. Very relaxed, quiet and with friendly and helpful staff. I would specifically like to thank Fausto, a member of the hotel staff, for being so attentive and helpful when trying to book several activities. Muchísimas gracias, Fausto!

Cozy hotel right on the beach; the staff were great and its ideally located on the north end of Isla Mujeres where everything is in walking distance. The hotel is down a quiet road and their beach faces east - turtles come right up on the beach to lay their eggs. Will definitely stay here again.

Beautiful place with amazing views. Quiet and peaceful and right on the beach. You can't swim off the beach were this is located due to strong tides and rocky area but just around the corner less than a min walk is the clearest most perfect white sand beach you can imagine. It was truly awesome!

Amazing views are the best quiet area away from hussle and bustle

The continental breakfast could use some improvement. Not clearly specified where to get the cups from etc. The yogurt was put just in a bowl with no ice so it was warm when I served it. For the price of the hotel it could really be better.

i loved this hotel with my room right on the sand was like a seeam with thecwaves crashing on the beach. what a sleep i had .i will b back next year

This is a little hide away off the beaten path. So you just have to overlook the trash lined street leading to the hotel. When I asked the front desk attendant if this was the "Luna" he pointed to the sign and said "There is the sign". I pointed out that part of the sign was blocked by a big plant. Not the most welcoming reception. There were no towels in the room so I went back to the front desk to ask for some. I was told there would be a $100 deposit for a beach towel as well as for the safe key and that there were other towels in the room. I said I looked all over and that there were no towels. He became frustrated and told me that there WERE towels and then decided to escort me to my room to show me. Along the way he talked to the cleaning lady. She hadn't put towels in the room. I was told the towels would be brought later - No sorry or anything, There was no ice and was told by another guest that you have to ask the front desk to get some. I went to the pool which was half full due to a leak. Maintenance was lacking as well. Rust stains from nails on the walls - need painting. Thatched coverings over the windows and roof need to be replaced - trash around the pool area. I needed to check out at 8:00am and asked if I could get an earlier breakfast (included in the room).. I was told "no" - breakfast was at 8:00 only. Only coffee could be had before 8:00. Great view of ocean. But one day was enough. Need to work on attitude, client service and maint.

Loved the view and proximity to beaches and restaurants!
