Everyone was very nice & helpful. Beautiful pool! Good location!

We had a very pleasant stay at Mount View Hotel & Spa. Great location, rooms were very clean, staff is very friendly. I wish they had more mineral pools experiences available for hotel visitors. Breakfast is very simple and limited but it could be due to Covid restrictions.

It's beautiful, in the heart of Calistoga. Close to the action

Loved the decor. Reception staff was incredibly courteous and civilized. A real pleasure.

Very friendly, accommodating staff who went out of their way to do everything to make our stay comfortable including room selection, car covers, spa appointments, restaurant recommendtions and left behind jewelry. The hotel is older and has the charm, feel and sizing of exactly what it is, a restored older European styled hotel. Three of us stayed in one of the 2 bedroom suite with the Jack/Jill bathroom. Furnished in dark grey wallpaper, whites and velvet, one room had an ample closet and was darker and quieter. The other was more airy and bright with a wardrobe. Each bedroom had a sink, mirrors and lights that made sharing the bathroom easy. There was also a separate sitting area with soft chandelier lighting. We spent evenings drinking wine we'd purchased at wineries or brought along while noshing on the most delightful snacks we'd found at the growers market nearby. (The fish and orchids at the market were unbelievable.) There was some noise from the bar directly below (music bass) Friday night but it wasn't loud and did not interfere with sleeping. Crazy heavy winds from an unusual weather front the next night were way louder and disruptive. Each morning we would head to their salon to grab a wonderful pour over coffee and pastry (all complimentary) before heading to the hot tub. Delightfully delicious. The spa service was excellent. The location of the hotel couldn't be better with restaurant, shops, markets, wineries and art galleries only a few steps away.

We had a great stay here. 50 characters is too much

Great customer service, beautiful space. No wifi for 3 days. No poolside service. The restaurant Jimmy's, downstairs, was a hub for screaming loud bro culture everynight. Jimmy's wouldn't let us take our food to the room or the pool. Great location. Beautiful room, they upgraded us. Thank you Mount View!

The property was beautiful, the pool and hot tub area looked like it was out of a magazine and had great landscaping! It’s a smaller property, which I like very much! The housekeeping staff said good morning everyday we saw them as we were going out to the wineries. There was a complimentary wine tasting going on when we arrived and the sampling was generous. We ate at Johnny’s once, it’s obviously a local hangout and probably the most hopping place in town. The food was good, but the service was just so-so. We did only have appetizers and a sandwich, both were good. There was one gentleman at the front desk that was great and we assumed he was the manager. He always greeted us and asked if we needed help. Most of the rest of the staff kept their heads down as we passed and most the time didn’t make eye contact. Our room was clean and comfortable! We didn’t like the down topper and covers because we got hot at night no matter how cold the room was, but I feel that’s a personal preference. There was a mini fridge and the room had great lighting and the bathroom was a great size! The bathroom products smelled amazing!!!! Overall, I felt it was the best possible place we could have picked in wine country!

I liked the staff -- great people in the women's spa, notably Nora. I wish that the outdoors facilities were covered / sheltered. It poured rain while we were there and with no cover / outdoor heaters those amenities were unusable.

We enjoyed everything about Mount View especially the pool area and spa

Cute small rooms very clean and a great spa experience!

This hotel needs a complete renovation. The rooms are old, dirty, and smelly. It’s also extremely noisy, there is no sound insulation in the rooms.

Great location and close to many restaurants to easily walk to. Very comfortable & clean rooms

Great location in the town. Walking distance to restaurants and brewery.

Very nice hotel to stay. Enjoyed the continental breakfast to get my day started. The Spa and the pool makes it enjoyable. The water pressure in the shower was slow.

Very nice Hotel. Great pool and area. The staff was super nice. You will enjoy this Hotel.

Great location. Great staff, especially Matthew. Would gladly stay there again.

This hotel is quite nice. I am only reducing one category because there is no elevator which might be an issue for someone with mobility issues or a lot of luggage (though the hotel staff is more than happy to assist). Very relaxing to hang out by the pool. Very charming. It was wonderful to be able to walk to different things in town.

We came for a 2-night weekend stay for a wedding in St Helena. We had a couple mud bath and facials and walked around the town. Our room was very comfortable. We would stay here again.
