I was at the cottages 10 years ago, since then they have changed ownership. The staff was friendly and very helpful.

Enjoyed the great location of the property. Very convenient to down town . We were not expecting to get the room that was handicapped accessible and were less than thrilled about the mess that the shower makes . Pretty much had a soaking wet floor with the five of us getting ready for a wedding .

Great location. Nice pool. But the water well pump was outside our room and came on every couple minutes all night. Not terribly loud but enough.

Cottages were roomy and comfortable. Staff were great. If you're not a race fan make sure car races at nearby fairgrounds are not happening for your stay. Perfect location otherwise. Pool and hot tub were awesome.

From the moment we checked in, the staff at Carlin Cottages made us feel like family. The property has beautiful grounds, a sparkling pool and a relaxing hot tub fed by the underground mineral springs Calistoga is well-known for.

Everything is expensive in Calistoga, but we had hoped for a better experience at the Carlin Cottages for the amount of money we paid. The room was old, run down and not very clean. We had to go to the office to find plastic cups for water, and there were very few other helpful amenities. The two air conditioners they provided could not overcome the stifling moldy atmosphere. We did enjoy the Jacuzzi tub and the outdoor courtyard provided a pleasant escape from the oppressive room.

Enjoyed my stay, I wasn't there long enough to enjoy all the extras, but I would stay there again!
