Despite Covid-19 all the staff were keen to help. Renovated rooms with a majestic Nile view are to die for.

Amazing stay right on the Nile in the center of the city and the staff is always helpful and on top of there game from anything to simple questions to booking you a all day tour to the pyramids or just a car service to the hospital with a driver by your side like I needed for a small eye problem I had. Even during covid 19 everyone has a smile on and the place is clean and well kept. Highly recommend the place and the Gym, Pool and spa are nice. Also I did enjoy the Thai restaurant in the hotel the birdcage. Didn’t o the Casio but they have one for people that like those. Room service is wonderful when you want to stay in and make sure to get a Nile facing room. But anything you need they will help you with and make sure to get breakfast included with your stay. I highly recommend staying at the Intercontinental Cairo Semiramis.

Amazing hotel everything was great the staff the food nothing to complain about

We stayed there 6 days. There was a mixup our last day and breakfast wasn't included even though it was included all the other days. It was a bad way to end the trip.

The best thing about this hotel is the welcoming attitude of its staff and employees....they make you feel at home

At check out the hotel informed me that they did not get their money from expedia/orbitz and forced me to submit my credit card and charged me. They claim it may or may not be resolved but they won’t let me leave without paying. When I said let’s call orbitz they refused and I was told If I don’t pay they wont let me go. So instead of resolving their issue with orbitz they rather do it with me even though i am ambassador status with them. Talk about customer service

Location is amazing, within walking distance to Tahrir Square and shops. Beautiful hotel with clean rooms and amazing staff. Needs to be updated though.

Safe hotel that is clean and has many good restaurants.

Fantastic trip, great location. Only improvement would be to provide more day trips out. We crossed the bridge to the Novotel hotel and picked up a great day trip.

Room view was excellent. Good view of the Nile. Close to many restaurants.

WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE. THIS HOTEL IS A REAL "OASIS" IN EL CAIRO. THE BEST THAI FOOD IN THE SECOND FLOOR RESTAURANT. ITS STAFF IS VERY PROFESSIONAL.

Thank heavens we had such a nice place to return to after touring the pyramids, riding camels, eating dust and fighting traffic. The breakfast buffet is fabulous as is the Sushi bar. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

The hotel is okay, I do not feel safe due to the trouble in this area, sound of gun fire all night, wish I could get my money back and go to a different hotel.

The room was pretty standard, but considering that for the same $220 per night you can stay at the Venetian in Las Vegas, the Intercontinental is quite pricey for what you get. Internet was not free, but not overly expensive, although the speed wasn't very fast. The Lebanese restaurant has great quality food, although pricey. The location is really good as it is in the middle of down town, and you can walk to the Egypt museum in 10 minutes, and a short 4 metro stops will take you directly to the Hanging Church. There was a wedding on one of the days we stayed there, and they blasted the music from the 2nd floor restaurants so loudly that when talking to the reception, I couldn't hear him talk from across the counter. However, I guess that is normal for middle eastern weddings. Breakfast buffet was fairly good, but for the same $30 per person, the buffet in Las Vegas blows this away.

This was a luxury hotel - pretty much top-notch in terms of services, room and such. We ate there several times - very pricey, especially with the 25%+ service fees and taxes added on. Food was good. We got good service - the desk manager was most accommodating and the business center allowed me short-time access to my email for no fee (the only hotel of 6 to do this for me). Overall it was a positive experience and a great refuge from the cacophony of Cairo.

It was really special, I will recommend this Hotel to my family, friends, and colleagues.
