Concierge and front desk are excelent. Nice and outstanding! They help us a lot. Breakfast service was downgrade. Waiters where rude with us and kitchen was not working well. Room is not fancy, rather simple and old fashioned. Very nice hotel in a beautiful city and really good neighborhood. But not a 5 star.

The best thing about Hotel Amigo is the location -- it is literally one block from Grand Place and steps from many restaurants and shops. The hotel itself is a little bit dated, but pretty well kept up. I was happy that there was free Internet, and despite their disclaimer that the free internet was not sufficient for streaming, we were able to stream video. The closets were heavy wardobes which had lights which turned on when the wardrobe doors were open, but the lights themselves actually never turned off, which was a little annoying. The room temperature setting was also a bit temperamental. The room was small and didn't have a nice view, but was well maintained by the maid staff and comfortable. It would have been nice to have a kettle and some coffee/tea, but perhaps this hotel was too high end to do that. The towels and bathrobe were very, very heavy and thick, and the bathroom was nice with good water pressure and nice finishes. The "king" bed was two twins pushed together, but the duvet and pillows were very comfortable. The staff were extremely nice and helpful at all times -- truly "luxury" level of service.

The hotel is at the center of all the activities. The staffed are very friendly. We enjoyed the brunch.

Staff was wonderful, breakfast tasty, location ideal!

Me and my wife stayed one night here. We had a long flight from the US to here the day before with zero rest. We here treated like royalty. I highly encourage anyone that is thinking of staying here to give it a try you will not be let down.

A wonderful hotel, steeped in old-European style and sophistication and a great location. On-site staff is very helpful, rooms are beautiful and stocked with amenities.

Didn't love the city experience overall...very touristy and felt unsafe and watched at night. Was so nice to feel safe and indulge a bit at this lovely hotel. Great experience from the moment we walked in. Turn down service after we returned to room from exploring was unexpected and we were delighted to experience it-a first for us. Loved the massive tub!! By far the nicest hotel of our trip and would stay there again or another location based upon our wonderful mid trip one night stay. This hotel was our favorite part of being in the city besides a hole in the wall small Italian restaurant w homemade pasta

This hotel is just steps from the best parts of Brussels and the staff is extraordinarily accommodating

I've stayed a few places in Brussels and return again and again to the Amigo- it is located in the heart of the historic area, has friendly professional staff and the accommodations and food are impeccable.

Everything is near perfect. The staff are super friendly and very helpful. This is the place to stay when visiting Brussels. Definitely recommend it.

Cannot say enough great things about this hotel. EXCELLENT location right near the Gran Place. Staff is wonderful. We were at the hotel for an hour and the staff all knew our names. The Italian restaurant in the hotel has wonderful food--as good as we found in Italy. Want to return for sure.

The Amigo has a well-deserved reputation as one of, if not Brussels' top hotel. It might seem a bit dated to some, but I found it an elegant hotel in a great location literally steps away from Gran Place and within walking distance to the train station. As with all great hotels, the staff is extremely helpful in giving advice and making arrangements.

The best hotel in brussels! On our European it was the best night sleep we had!

The Hotel Amigo is in an excellent location, one block from the Grand Place. My wife and I stayed there for three nights in June after spending a hectic 9 days in Africa. Upon check-in the staff is very friendly and multi-lingual. Could not have asked for a warmer welcome from a hotel staff. The rooms are a decent size, bathrooms are moderately sized. Very clean with all of the amenities you need. Room service is a little pricey and we didn't try out the restaurant in the hotel, but overall a good hotel with an excellent location.
