It is in the student area for Boston College. Old building. Small room. However, everything I needed. Perfect.

The staff was very unfriendly and helpfull

Pros: clean, affordable, great downtown location. Cons: poor communication re. parking (you can use the ramp across the street for $42/night, but only if you get your ticket validated at the front desk, otherwise it's $64/night! The Found Hotel's website, however, says they provide no parking or discounts.) There is no folder or handbill provided at check-in or in your room to tell you this, or anything else about hotel amenities. Also, on my first night, hotel staff (I think) had loud conversations past 11 pm, which was annoying since my room was right behind the front desk, and with all the attractive but acoustically-live woodwork, plaster, and tile everywhere, they may as well have been in my lap. More pros: my second night was quiet, and overall I liked my tiny but cozy room.

Everything was fine the only thing is that there was no small refrigerator in the room.

The price could not be beat. Services are minimal but given what you pay, it's not surprising. Perfectly adequate.

Like. The location in the City Unlike. $$$ for what we got

I like the fact. The people were friendly but I did not like the fact they were bank bed whit four occupied I wish it was a small room with one occupied

Front desk staff were very kind and helpful. They were able to hold my bags prior to check in. Unfortunately there were several long strands of hair left in the shower that were disappointing, otherwise this was a fine stay. I stayed in the individual twin which has a private shower and small desk.

The check in receptionist was impolite, blazé, impatient and snappy. The room was terribly small, on the ground floor facing the street so not great. The worst thing is that the room was adjacent to the reception and the receptionist was so extremely noisy, giggling and talking loudly. I complained yet she kept talking loudly. All in all, do yourself a favour and keep away from this property. It will probably not bring you any joy.

Good location.

Good location

Clean & comfortable! Well designed, great location, friendly helpful staff. I recommend to others and would stay here again

Lovely hotel. Very well maintained, friendly staff, and walkable to several sights.

This is an excellent find near Boston Common. Based on reviews we were hesitant to book; but we are glad we did. The queen room is about the size of a standard European hotel, so good enough for 2 people and a suitcase. The bathroom was very large. The room was clean, and the staff was helpful. Would stay again.

very small room, no refrigerator, poor amenity Quiet room

Cute little spot in a convenient area. Room was small(!) but nice. Staff was.... not the friendliest, but whatever.

Nice location and great room at a great price! A friend and I stayed in a standard room with 2 queen beds for an interview at Tufts Medical Center. The room was modern and decorated beautifully, and it had great separation between the two beds so we could both have our privacy. There was a center dividing curtain, and we each had our own televisions and closets. The mattresses and pillows were super comfy and were housed in these cool platform beds with a built-in bedside cubby that housed USB chargers, etc. C.O Bigelow products were provided in the bathroom, which were great. Only negatives were that someone had clearly been smoking cigarettes in our bathroom? I came right at check-in. Everything in the room was cleaned immaculately, but when I opened that bathroom door, I was hit with the odor of cigarettes that wasn't present in the bedroom. Also the walls seem pretty thin; I could hear our neighbors easily at 4am.

While true that our rooms are on the smaller side, being an older hotel (143 years) things were built smaller back then, and that IMO is part of our charm. We can understand your situation and this is why we offer complimentary earplugs and place white noise machines in the room. We are in a great neighborhood walking distance to everything. Thank you for staying with us at the FOUND Hotel. We appreciate your feedback!
