If you are bringing your furry friend to one of the pet-friendly hotels Beijing offers, you will be searching for some entertaining things to do together. Although Beijing can seem like a crazy city, there are many quiet spots, both around the city center and a little further out. This makes it perfect for you and your pet to enjoy the big Chinese capital.

Things to do with your pet in Beijing (China)

While you are visiting Bejing, you will definitely want to experience the Great Wall of China. The easiest section to access with a pet is the restored and accessible Mutianyu. The town itself is quaint and pretty and worth some exploration.

Close to the city center is the Tongzhou Grand Canal Park. With a scenic walk along the canal, this is a perfect destination to explore with your pet. Also near the center, in the Haidan District, is the Jiufeng National Forest Park, full of trails to explore and an incredible view of the sprawling city center from its highest point.

In Beijing center, you will want to keep your dog on a leash at all times. But if your pet is craving some freedom and interaction with their own breed, there are a couple of doggy parks where they will be able to freely explore to their heart’s content. The CoolBaby Dog Theme Park is an open area designed especially for dogs. It features an obstacle course and is very popular with the canine population of Beijing. Also, the pet-friendly Wanjing Dog Park is a free area where dogs are permitted to run around off the leash.
