Love this place, nice and clean, rooms are big and it's at the heart of everywhere you want to go in Barcelona. Shopping and metro are just steps away. staffs are super friendly, will try their best to solve the problems you have to make your stay enjoyable and comfortable. I wish all other hotels customer service can learn from them. Their friendliness makes you feel like home. The bar is a very nice area to be at a reasonable price. I will be back soon.

The hotel location is great and breakfast is very delicious too.

The nights before moving to this 4 star rated hotel, we stayed at 2 star Serennia Exclusive Rooms (a block away) which we also booked through orbitz. We found the 4 star Hotel Regina to be very disappointing in comparison. The room we were assigned at Hotel Regina was VERY small. We were on the 1st floor & had a small terrace which faced a dirty alleyway where the hotel central ventilation system ran loudly all day and night. The terrace was unusable & leaving the doors open to cool the room was too noisy to allow for sleep. There were cigarette butts on the floor of the terrace and it appeared to not have been cleaned in a long time. Amenities provided in the room included a small electric tea kettle There was a mini fridge loaded with overpriced beverages, two small bottles of water and a bag of chips. In the bathroom there were full size bottles of soap, hand lotion, shampoo and bath get. No face soap or conditioner was provided. There was also some other small toiletry items including a few cotton balls and Q-tips. There were two terry cloth bathrobes and some paper slippers provided in the room for guest use. Hotel Regina is NOT a terrible place, but certainly NOT 4 star. It appears you receive a better room if you book through the hotel directly for a higher price. The location is excellent, but you can definitely find better in the same exact area. I would NOT recommend Hotel Regina considering other available options nearby.

Everything was wonderful. Wish they had some better basic amenities. Better bathroom products, complementary water bottles etc.

In thr same day of check in after almost 4 hours of checking. My sister had problem in wiyh some guys in the street he insulting her baldly so dhe got truma and shocked and start to crying and asked to doing check out and leave the city..i talk kindly to the manager of the hotel and explained to thrm every things that its an accident happend to us we csnnot stay in the hotel and we booked our fkight for leaving Barcelona..kindy cancel our reservation or hrlp us by giving us the money back even for 3 or 2 or even one day back and hrlping us .. they said in the beganing we will think then later they said no its not our responsibility.. its really disappointed that as human beings no consedation for any things ..so we cut our trip and let the hotel and still we ve 5 or 4 more days and they didnt hrlp us at all of return part of the monry ..

This is an excellent hotel conveniently located to Las Ramblas aand with a taxi stand right out front. Very friendly staff and a full breakfast buffett (optional)

Hotel is in a great location and price was very reasonable. Small room but knew that when I booked it. Room was very clean and tidy and served it's purpose. Only negative was that I could hear everything going on outside the room. People talking, babies crying. Wasn't sound proof.

They provided slippers, toothbrush, qtips (which was nice), but would have really liked hair conditioner instead. Room was clean, but had some mildew on the floor- the showers (as in many in Europe), are open with a small pane of glass, so floor gets wet. Overall, very nice hotel.

This is a great hotel in an excellent location. The staff was friendly and accomaditing and spoke excellent English. Breakfast was good and the bar was reasonably priced.

Great location but pricey for what you actually get

I arrived at the Regina Hotel via taxi from the train station. At check-in, I was told that since I was staying for nearly 2 weeks, they would like to give me a superior room with a balcony facing the main street but that I had to wait approx. 1 hour for the room to be cleaned. I waited at the bar and had a very pleasant conversation with the bartender. The room was well-worth the wait. Although it was small (typical in Europe) it was very comfortable and modern. A fresh flower was on the desk next to a letter of welcome (with my name written on it) and a freshly baked giant cookie! The mini fridge was stocked and the WiFi worked great. The staff is extremely nice and helpful and answered any questions I had about the city, restaurants, tours, etc. The hotel does not have a pool or gym, but they gave me a day pass to a nearby Spa ($14/day) that was one of the best spas I've ever been to. Hotel Regina is a 1/2 block away from Plaça Catalunya and couldn't be more centrally located. The only downside is that the hotel is quite noisy. The hallway echoes, and you could hear the cleaning crew wheel their carts and vacuums throughout the day. Also, the walls are paper thin so you could hear the conversation in the room next door. However, if I were to return to Barça, I would stay at the Hotel Regina, again. It's worth it.

we stayed there for 4days. location was great. otherwise, nothing was spectacular. The staff was very kind.
