This is a wonderfully elegant and friendly small hotel near all of the downtown sights. We were especially pleased with the breakfast, which included perfectly ripe fruit and the best croissants we've eaten outside of France. The hotel provides guests with a complimentary afternoon tea, as well, which includes cake and other items to snack on.

Location was great, staff was friendly and helpful. Desk char was horribly uncomfortable.

Liked its location. Staff was efficient and very friendly. Breakfast was delicious!

Small clean room Cetral and a little expensive but ok for Barcelona

Breakfast was great. Karen in particular was an excellent host.

I have traveled to Barcelona and have stayed T different hotels. This has been by far the best! Staff was amazing! And so were the bed linens and mattress!

Close to many points of interest. Walking distance to great restaurants.

Very nice. Clean. And great location very friendly staff. Breakfast is a must.

I had booked a classic room & they upgraded me to a superior room with a balcony at no extra cost. The beds were very comfortable and the only thing that needs improvement is the lighting in the bathroom. The staffs were very friendly and check in was quick. We got to the hotel around 12:30pm and were able to check in at 1pm.

Room 106 was the noisiest room I have ever had the misfortune to stay in. There is no soundproofing whatsoever and the noise from the atrium, the elevator, and the piped in music wafts into the room. We didn't get any sleep. Other than that the hotel is lovely but as a good night's sleep is the most important part of travelling, we will not be staying here again and will not recommend it to friends.

Hotel Granvia is a conveniently located decent enough hotel in the magical city of Barcelona but what marred our stay was an odd incident on the second night of our stay. As we entered our room, a pungent odor emanated from the bathroom. As we were about to go to sleep the odor began to permeate the room. Further investigating it was coming from the shower drain. It smelled like excrement. We went down and the conceirge came up and said he could move us to another room. So we packed everything up and moved. Honestly it was a tremendous inconvenience and all the hotel did was comp one breakfast! Considering the (just so-so) buffet breakfast was ridiculously overpriced to begin with (14e) that was pretty upsetting. And I had to ask for the comp (I asked for 2 we got 1) To add insult to injury, the room we were moved to wasn't even an upgrade it was the same size room (but not as nice). The main conceirge (who was very nice otherwise) pretty much waved the smell incident off as something that often happens in Barcelona. Hotel Granvia should learn to respect their guests more. We should have been comped a night. That's the way NY would have handled it. We will return to the enchanting city of Barcelona. But we will stay elsewhere.

The hotel is really close to the Barcelona Bus Tour pick up site near the Casa Balto. This is probably the best way to see the city. The place is very nice, spacious and beautiful. I was impressed and I have stayed at 4 star hotels in NYC.

Lovely renovated old historic building; boutique hotel; Best buffet breakfast in Barcelona with 30+ plus delicious foods; very clean and all the amenities; hotel staff very accommodating and friendly.
