It was cold the heat wasn’t working right we was freezing
It has an historic look Reminiscent of an old bank. Cool place. Will go again. Bathroom was 👍
they only offer parking if you stay atleast two nights.
Not friends employees except one person. Though I requested by phone requesting help turning on the TV,no one came to help. Terrible tasting pizza I would have sent back but I ate it in my room.
A lot of dust around the elevator door - aging property... little dark and gloomy
Expensive overpriced and unsafe. The valet service in not in due to covid. There are poor people (no judgement) crack heads, beggers, jus scary lookin folks its trashy in the area. On top of the hotel being high there is nowhere to park out front to run in to check in nor park Or u will get towed. Their parking garage is 5 mins around the corner (Had to use lyft) and they CHARGE YOU $34 A NIGHT to park there on top of a incidentals fee of $75 so in all i paid almost $300 for a one night unsafe hotel stay. I rven put th chairs up to the door so noone would get in i was soo nervous and noid. TRUST MY REVIEWS KEEP LOOKING ELSEWHERE.
I loved the corner room we had with 5 sides and high ceilings. It truly was an escape for us.
It was just a beautiful and relaxing atmosphere and it’s dog friendly as well
This is one of the best dog friendly hotels we have ever stayed at! Everything was wonderful! The rooms were clean and spacious bed was comfortable, and it was within walking distance to the Inner Harbor. We did valet parking for an overnight trip. While expensive, it was totally worth it! They held our luggage and allowed us to keep our car in valet until 5 PM, so we had extra time to explore the area. If you are looking for a local, dog friendly restaurant, The James Joyce Pub, was great! Heated and enclosed patio where we were able to enjoy a meal with our golden retriever in tow! Wonderful stay!
Older hotel but very nice. Conveniently located, friendly staff and a free happy hour on Fridays.
.The history of the place was amazing. The new hotel was integrated well into the historic building
Lovely building with spacious rooms; staff was not rude but less than polite. Room had the bare minimum for amenities (no coffee machine, or hair dryer, soap in the bathroom was empty, pay for wi-fi). There was a tiny sign posted in to room to ask for anything that was needed, but the added level of inconvenience was unexpected.
Excellent staff, comfortable accommodations, and plentiful amenities
I would stay here again, No complaints. Convenient to the Inner Harbor.
While staying at La Scala we encountered two individuals screaming at each other in the hallway regarding a relationship issue. Security showed up but then left and they kept screaming at each. Security did not show up after their first visit. The room had dusty side tables as well and the desk was also a bit sticky. The treadmills also did not work well and would not accelerate to the actual speed they said they were going in the gym. The staff was extremely friendly and we only stayed for one night.
The staff were very kind and helpful. Would definitely return.
