Convenient and walkable to all restaurants and shops. Staff was always friendly and helpful. Old property and somewhat noisy due to corner location. Good value for the location.

Very unique, great rooftop for viewing and chilling.

Location was great. Bed was way too soft. No maid service during the week.

It’s ok. Fairly clean. Ice machine was broken. Informed it. We had to buy ice.

Great spot. Very friendly staff and super close to everything in Avalon. Staying here every time in the future!

Close to everything, friendly staff, great place for the price. Would book again.

Nice accommodation for my girlfriend's service dog. Very polite and helpful.

It was fun and comfortable staying in this historic hotel. Beds were very comfortable and staff wonderful. Didn't make it to the rooftop sitting and viewing area, but hear it is a very nice amenity of this place. WiFi and TV worked perfectly. Would stay here again.

We had a great stay in the Loft. My only regret is that we didn’t book another night.

As soon as we arrived we were greeted by Juan with a smiling face. He was courteous and professional. We couldn’t get my card to run through so he said no worries we can settle the bill at the end of your stay. He walked us up to our room and showed us how to work everything and pointed out the amenities. The room was very quaint and charming. The building is older but beautiful with amazing views from the rooftop terrace. The bed was extremely comfortable and we slept very well aside from a little street noise. It is conveniently located with wonderful restaurants around the corner. The only downside is the shower layout and the floor gets soaked. We very much enjoyed our stay and will stay again!

Great stay. Bbq good view nice location hot tub was excellent

The Seacrest was a quaint hotel with an excellent rooftop view, close proximity to ferries, and wonderfully pleasant and accommodating staff. The room wasn't the cleanest and the bustling town was loud at times, but the charm was worth it.

Though centrally located, our room was quiet and peaceful. We were in the first room called The Palm, technically located on the ground floor, though there were a few steps to climb. (Other rooms were up a long flight of stairs so be sure to ask about that.) It was a bit small but nice and clean, had AC with fan, and a big Jacuzzi tub with a shower head, a small fridge; and the queen-sized bed had a firm mattress. The rooftop patio has a great BBQ, a fridge with ice, umbrellas, tables, chairs, chaise lounge chairs, and a view of the ocean. Staff was accommodating and friendly - after checking out, we were allowed to store luggage , access the rooftop patio, and borrow a bottle opener. Housekeeping staff found clothing items we left behind and returned them to us when we retrieved our luggage. Highly recommended.

Our stay was very quite even on a holiday weekend. Everything was in walking distance, I liked the roof top view, BBQ,refrigerator, sink. I wish the room was re-organized so that I didn't like it was so crowded.

My friend and I had an excellent trip - 3 days and 2 nights. The Seacrest Inn was welcoming and provided a comfortable place to rest and regroup each day. The wicker rose room is advertised as having a queen sized bed. I'm not sure that it wasn't a double. The bed seemed quite small and the room was pretty crowded. The bathroom was comfortable and clean. They offer access to an upper sun deck with nice views and comfortable deck furniture.

Delightful place to stay! It's not the Ritz but it was a very pleasurable stay with nice facilities and a very welcoming staff. It is close to the core of Avalon and the activities. I would most definitely stay here again upon returning to Catalina Island. Wifi functioned very well. My room (#1 - The Palm) has a jacuzzi tub. You will find the staff informative, helpful and very accommodating.

The room was decent, but the off season price was too much compared to nicer hotels in town. I booked sight unseen.

This hotel has lots of Catalina character, just what you would expect when visiting the island. The room is small with a narrow stairway to get to it. However, its close to the downtown and the staff is very friendly and helpful. If you are looking for nice clean, safe place to stay this is it. If you are looking for luxury and pampering, go somewhere else. BTW: the rooftop is a great place to view the ocean. They also furnish gas BBQ with table and chair and lounge chairs. Great place to wind down after a busy evening.
