This property needs to be torn down. It is old and outdated. This place hasn’t been updated since the 90’s. The worst La Quinta I have ever stayed in. Oh and at checkin there is a surprise $33 valet only parking fee (no self park).

Great location in downtown Austin

The sheets had makeup stains. We had to pay to be able to park on the hotel grounds. It was a poor experience.

Staff was extremely nice. Facility was not clean, theres no fridge in the room, there qas hair on the bathroom floor and bugs. No options for parking, only vallet which qas $30 a night and i had to park myself cause no one could drive standard. Breakfast was only juice boxes and muffins and coffee. Not very pleased.

The worst expierence ever! We were not aware we had to pay for parking until check in. Then we put in a room that smelled like Weed. The front desk clerk brought us keys to a new room. That room was gross. The walls had booger and something suspiciously poop colored smeared on the walls. The floor was filthy. When you flush the toilet it makes a high pitch scream. When I was chexking out I was telling the front desk clerk about it and she said "yeah sorry. sometimes our cleaning staff just go so fast they dont notice the smell and stuff on the floor." Basically Do Not Stay here if you expect to be able to take your shoes off. There are more hotels in the area for the same price range that cleaner and better. There is another La Quinta 5 mins away that is cleaner and better. Just dont do it. I wish I could have my money back.

Parking is VERY expensive (about $27/night). Room interiors are clean and modern, but facility exteriors, stairwells, etc. aren't very well maintained. Rooms are a mix of interior hallway access and exterior walkway access. Exterior access rooms face in to a large inner court yard, which was noisy.

They charge 25 bucks a night for parking and you cannot just take your car and go everything has to be done by valet. None of that is mentioned until you get there.

I like that it was close to 6th st and i think they could modernize its elevator but other than that everything was fine.

Heater didn't work first night, was stuck on AC and had to figure out how to unplug. Heater was also noisy when it was running. They gave me a corner room on ground floor which had a lot of street noise, I know that's not their fault but I felt like because I was a single man I got put into a crappy room.

This particular La Quinta Inn was way too old and run down. It was nasty. I felt really uncomfortable staying ther, especially at a rate of $180+ per night. This place isn’t worth more then $60 a night, equivalent to Motel 6.

The property needs to be updated since it is situated in DT Austin, otherwise, not a bad place to stay a couple of nights

Very rough. Mold on ceiling in bathroom. Room smelled. Fitness room had very strong mildew smell. One elevator not working, other was “jumpy”. Location is good, but that is it! The nicest area was stairwell, which we used quite a bit.

I liked its close proximity to the Megabus station, the Capitol, and the music venues. Perfect location for my purposes.
