Room was non smoking and stunk of stale cigarette smoke. Asked the staff about it and was told people still smoke in the rooms. Was then given spray bottle of a scented liquid to spray in the room for the odor. No thermostat to adjust the room temperature. Found a toothpick on the window sill. Overall poor experience.

Checkin took over an hour and half. Room the carpet was wet , presumably from the refrigerator and although a non smoking room, it smelled like smoke

It was o.k

Hotel is very clean and lots of options.

Got two smoking rooms. One was fine, the other smelled terrible. Bathroom wasn’t cleaned right because there was hair all over the shower and on the sink counter.

No room service, front desk at the Chelsea was closed, no warning of this, pool sucks, reserved chairs never taken, kiosk check in was a joke, had to stand in long line even when preregistered for check in, bars and pool room were closed, most casino tables were closed and limits on table were high even during the week.

The check in staff was amazing. The room was perfect! The casino is lively and beautiful. However, there were 2 things that were unsatisfactory. There were MANY machines that were broken. And the adult only pool was open until 5. My husband and I were only there for one night. Check in was at 4. And check out was at 11. The staff told us we were only allowed to swim if we were checked in guests. It was ridiculous that we would pay to go to a pay for only an hour. And then we were not allowed to swim the next day because we had to check out. Just seems unfair for people who can only stay for one night.

I specifically chose the South Tower at the Tropicana as we wanted something closer to the pools. When we arrived and checked in, they didn’t have the room we chose that was advertised on Orbitz. They put us in the Havana Tower which was the farthest away. Why advertise specific rooms if they’re not going to be available when you arrive??? Just another incident where Orbitz failed.

Nice property. Stay away from the west like other reviews suggest. Went for a weekend. I stayed in North tower, clean nice spacious room but outdated building.

it was great

Other guest were inconsiderate, noisy and obnoxious, blasting Music, Children were left unsupervised by parents and were unruly, running the halls of hotel floor, slamming doors and screaming, it was impossible to get any rest!

At 4 pm (checkin time) after standing in line for 45min to check in, the room wasn't ready and they said they would text me when it was ready. Jennellys, ( very nice) told me I didn't have to stand in line again when thew room was ready. half hour later I got the text and I returned for the key, but a rude young gentleman told me I would have to stand in line again to get the key. I told him I was told that I could just come for the key and he actually argued with me that he didn't know who told me to just come for the key, but I would have to stand in line again. At this point the line was doubled in size and I said please give me my key, I'm not standing in line again. He first asked the next couple in line if they minded if he gave me the key, and they said of course not. He then reluctantly gave me the key. What a way to get a vacation off to a bad start! I suggest customer service training for this rude young man

Hidden fees! Paid in advance than was told there was a “casino fee” when I checked in

Dirty and dated
