Really enjoyed our weekend stay at the Claridge. The brunch at Leavanders restaurant (located inside the hotel) was amazing! $40 for all you can eat breakfast/ lunch and the menu was amazing. I highly recommend. The only bad thing about the hotel that was not good at all was their elevator system: You WILL be waiting quite a few minutes for an elevator, as there are many people using the elevators all at once so it takes forever to catch an elevator. The staff at this hotel are wonderful and it’s nice that it’s located so close to the beach and boardwalk, literally takes two minutes to walk to the beach and boardwalk. I would stay here again.

this must have been a great place in the 20's. The front deck manager was horrible. Everyplace is short staffed nowadays, but I'm sure when higher up realize she was a bad hire the place will improve.

Loved the historic feel of the hotel. Was turned off by the fact that it felt somewhat grimy, and neglected. Entryway doors were filthy. What a simple fix to have someone wipe them down,..especially during a pandemic. The staff overall were accomodating, especially the bell-men!! Room was comfortable, but bathroom toilet had not been cleaned.

The Claridge was not what the pictures led me to believe. The staff was nice, but the facility was dirty. There was mold behind the ice machines and on the ceilings. There was not an ice machine that worked within 5 floors of us. The elevators were extremely slow. We waited up to 20 minutes. I took the stairs once, but they did not lead to the entrance. There should also be an adult swim time at the pool. Thirty kids constantly screaming and running around did not make for relaxing pool time. The workout room did not have air, and the water in the machine was hot. The grounds around the hotel were also filthy. Our room was the cleanest place in the hotel. They may want to consider staggering the checkout times to help with the elevator wait. We were extremely disappointed and will never stay at The Claridge again.

It took 45 minutes to get an elevator. It was crazy.

The Clean bathroom

Elevators were a nightmare.

The first room I got was occupied and the 2nd room had blood stains on the sheets and smelled like smoke

It’s was a very nice place to stay at.

It was ok.

The view on the rooftop lounge

Great for a one day stay! Not a vacation destination but good for a beach day in A.C

Very expensive for a hotel that is very old no updated. We got stock in the Elevator ,the pool was very small and crowded, only one restaurant open, a lot people were smoking pot in a non-smoking floor..

Needs updating overall property, needs to be well kept and maintained is a nice vintage, retro style hotel

Third party booking has to pay parking at the hotel
