Air conditioner was not working, when I spoke with the front desk they told me the whole building was out but the hallways had cold air.

Parking was confusing

Building needs renovation and more staff to help guests

The hotel was ok clean employees was nice but my room was hot for 2 days i called wen i git there nobody came the tyb was dirty i had no face towels luckily i brung some of my own because they didnt brung me none til the evening of my second day. The valets was driving our car smoking in it for days we waited 30 mins to get our car because they forgot.

Everything was nice, the only problem was the expensive parking.

I really didn't like the parking but i enjoyed my stay.....

I pulled up to check in the valet people kept harring me asking me to pay for parking that I couldn't leave my car out front to check in ,they only had a few small amount of \30min visitor parking ,I had to get the hotel manager to get the valet people to back off and allow me to bring my things in and check in ,I decided to find parking in a public lot much cheaper and I found parking near the metro station ,other then that the front desk people very friendly rooms could have been more updated, and the doors on the room needs to be updated they was not up to part other then that the staff made up for it very nice I only had my issue with the valet parking guy upon arrival.

The hotel itself was not bad. It appears to be an older hotel so has some wear and tear. There were some obvious holes and things that had been patched in our room. However, I was overall pleased with our room. However, the free "continental breakfast" was actually just a muffin from the counter. I have 2 main complaints. The first is the valet parking. We dropped off our van and went to our room. When we left our van my husband asked if we needed a ticket or anything and they said no, which we thought was odd. Around 45 minutes later, my dad called us to tell us that our van was still sitting there. Turns out that you do need a ticket. They gave our ticket to my dad, which worked out fine but what if he had not been my dad and they just gave the ticket to our van to a stranger. That was very concerning. They did give us vouchers for free breakfast because of the mess up. My next big complaint is about my parents. We just returned home on Sunday. Today is Tuesday. My parents were double charged for their room and now they have almost $1,000 pending to come out of their bank account. My dad has called the hotel every 15 minutes for the last hour and they will not answer the phone. The hotel is in a decent location and the room was good, but I would NEVER stay here again!

The pool was fantastic! When I booked through Orbitz, they said there was a per night fee for parking. When I got there, however, they charged me almost three times what it was posted per night "due to COVID" I am not sure about that one and it wasn't explained to me but I needed to park my car somewhere and the local parking garage was more expensive. Twice while waiting for the valet, I was approached by panhandlers. I did not feel particularly safe right outside the lobby. The staff, room, and overall feel inside the hotel were all stellar.

Clean, convenient, restaurants near by, good for family visits

The shower did not drain and the ac did not cool well. The hotel was old and dirty

The air conditioning did not work and the front desk kept saying it would be working soon. A housekeeper told me the air conditioning had been broken for a week. Our floor smelled bad of stale air snd cigarettes. I will never stay here again because I felt that I was lied to about the air conditioning.

The staff were great, very friendly and helpful. The hotel itself leaves something to be desired. Firstly, the Staybridge is attached to the Crown Royal Hotel. The Crown Royal is very swanky. My taxi dropped me off at the Crown Royal's lobby. I was confused to find out I had to go downstairs to a different hotel. Once you leave the Staybridge's lobby, the disappointment really sets in. Everything is gray or brown. The paint is chipped. The elevator's finish is peeling. The rooms themselves are fine and have lovely, large glass walls but the glass is filthy. I was on the 23rd floor, near the elevator and the vibration of the elevator cable was so loud I thought someone was jackhammering on the street at 2 am. Also, the cook top is so weak it took 30 minutes to boil a pot of water to make pasta. I would call the Staybridge "depressing." All they need is a bit of redecorating and to clean the windows (and get more powerful cook tops) and the mood would be completely changed.
