This hotel was a mess. On the drive into the hotel there were random people just hanging around outside the door, and the same in the lobby. As we checked in we only received one room key, the elevator was broken so we had to take the stairs to our fourth floor room that always smelled of marijuana. Wall paper on the walls was peeling off and mold growing where it once stuck. All this before even entering the room. Get to the room and flip the switch for the lights and it doesn't work. Looking around quickly everything appeared to be satisfactory, but the closer we looked the more things got worse. As we gave the room a once over we noticed that the TV was screwed dresser, the sliding glass door to the balcony had no lock on it or stop to prevent it from opening, we were missing light bulbs from the main room lights, hence why the light switch didn't work. We went on to check the beds next and there was long hairs on the pillows and sheets, as well as stains on the sheets. After this we checked the bathroom and it didn't get much better, there were only a couple of towels, most of which looked to be reused, some had stains and ink on them. The shower head had corrosion all over it and there was mold growing in the grout of the tile in the corners. Needless to say there is a laundry list of things wrong with this place that make it deplorable and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

When pulling up to the hotel you could tell the photos where old when the building was still in good condition. This hotel was run down and need replacing of everything. We are very glad that we did not stay. And even after tell orbitzs that the rooms were all sold they still tried to call the deck where no one was working to confirm that the rooms where full. The only employee we ran into was not even in nice clothing. The employee didn't even bother to check our confirmation number. The only photo for this hotel shows the side of the building we didn't try to take a photo of the front desk because we wanted to get to our room and sleep after traveling all night.

The staff were nice, and friendly. The hotel appears to have been recently acquired and is undergoing VERY NEEDED renovation. Our room was cheap and we got what we paid for. We didn't have a trash can; we didn't get a free breakfast because they "couldn't put it out"; the bathtub was too gross to shower in. And then there was the police presence that made us a little worried about the safety of the neighborhood.

Stayed for approximately 15 minutes between the roaches and unsanitary bathroom there was no way I was about to sleep in the bed with a burn hole size of a quarter on the comforter in a non smoking room. I booked on orbit will never do that again being that is was non-refundable, so I lost that $70 dollars but there was no way I would stay there for a single night. Wish I could rate it zero and warn everyone who's considering staying there.

In transition, but very poor, took too long to check me in even though I paid online, first room horrible, second room still had issues, the evening clerk was very attitudinal. I would not stay again.

I know the ATL is expensvie , but this place.. its really bad they are so differnet than pictures and when you get in to the hotel, it feels like hunted house. if you try to save some money go for it. otherwise i am recomended this place.

[...] I'm writing you this review because you need to know about Fairview Hotel at Six Flags in Atlanta, GA. Fairview Hotel should not be call a Hotel, but a low class Motel! I have never been in a place like that before and unfortunately, I was in a situation with my work schedule where I did not have the time to change hotels. They are not fit to be in your Hotel category. First; they do not provide any of the services that are advertice; and they have people living in their hotel that looked like they are on some kind of drugs. The place has to much wrong with it to write about. I sincerely recomend that you remove them of your list of Hotels before someone else who may not be so gracious make the same mistake I did and select that place. [...] I did not know what I was getting myself into either. I just cannot put in writing how terrible of an experience I had. Sincerely, Hard Working Lady.
