Carpet, looks didn’t clean well Don’t have toothpaste and toothbrush

The hotel was very nice. Most of the staff was friendly and nice, especially the bartender and Murry/Murphy (not sure of name). Rashad (front desk) was very rude. Very short and dismissive. He even followed me outside and told me to not be snippy. I was only snippy because he was so rude. All we wanted were some umbrellas. Apparently, that was too much for him. Breakfast was great but not enough seats and garbage was overflowing everywhere. The people working the breakfast need help. There were only two of them and they were working hard but could not keep up. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. Also, the lady in the gift shop was super nice and helpful.

Usually love the breakfast not satisfied during this stay

Location was great and condition of hotel was ok. A bit worn. Parking was $45 and we could not access our vehicle ourselves. We stayed at Hilton Garden Inn (sold out this trip) on our last trip and it was a better value for us.

I did not like the lack of cleanliness. The restrooms smelled, stains on the sofa and shower curtain, hair on towels, brown water, breakfast by far was not up to par with other Embassy Suites locations. This was one of the worst hotels experiences.

The happy hour and Ruth Chris restaurant

I hope I can help someone else to see this since I didn’t ... $45/night parking. You don’t have any other option, you cannot self park. You can pay $36/night down the street in a parking deck as I was told. And it is not clear on the orbitz site, I filtered my search of hotels to include parking and even while talking to customer service I went through 3 pages to find where it was “obvious” to the CS agent. If it was so obvious it wouldn’t be only clear after you’ve paid and NOT on the main page. Oh and check in is not 3pm, according to staff it is 4pm. But better yet, we still couldn’t get a room until after 5pm because they weren’t caught up with cleaning. Another family we met didn’t get into their room until 8pm. Families were all in the lobby just waiting. And when we got to our room the entire floor had blue sanity stickers on the door so they could’ve let people up to the rooms rather than wait for an entire floor to be cleaned? There were no body towels in the room which we only discovered after having a shower and when I told reception it took 1.5 hours to get 2 towels. So enjoy drying off with a hand towel. I had to go from down the hall of the 7th floor to reception constantly. What a nightmare. They ended up giving $75 off our stay but I would’ve never stayed there in the first place if I had known it would be like this. I did not enjoy our stay and it made our trip really stressful.

Location was the best part. Staff was under a lot of pressure due to rooms not being ready for guests. Attempted to check in at 3 pm was informed rooms were not ready and they would text when my room would be. My room was not available until after 6 pm. Front desk staff was nice and apologetic. Valet parking was a mess. Was charged $45 with a long wait and only one driver at valet that knew how to be courteous. Won’t be staying there again. Room didn’t look like it had been vacuumed. Overall was extremely disappointed.

My family’s stay at Embassy Suites at Centennial Park was disappointing but expected because of price. For a family of 6 people, we paid under 1300 for flight and hotel stay. We paid for parking at another parking garage which was cheaper than the hotel. The side entrance was not maintained. Cigarettes ends and trash laid on the ground for days. The lobby floor was sticky and was still dirty each time we came downstairs. The hotel’s exterior was dark and bad lighting. Our room had dark walls and tattered furniture. The room may have been sanitized but not cleaned. Inside the bathroom there was dust and spider webs visible in the vent. Long strands of hair were left inside the tub and caught on door hinges. Crumbs of food were found along the couch. I don’t think they ever cleaned the inside of the pullout couch. We paid for a premium room which meant breakfast each day and snack replenish. We did not receive a replenishment of snacks. The breakfast was ok. Everything was microwaved. The hotel staff was friendly and provided additional towels and water. If you are reading this review and decide to stay because everyone’s experience is not the same please remember to directly tell the front desk that you want your room cleaned upon arrival. We stayed 3 nights, told the front desk we “opt in” the second night. No one ever came, you have to send text messages.

This hotel needs renovation The sitting room couch was discussing and hair was on the blanket so I did not use it Vending machines don’t work as well had to go from the 8th floor to the 2nd floor before I found a working one People that work at the hotel are very nice Will not be staying at this place again

The hotel advertised Starbucks as a service amenity, which was one of the strongest reasons we chose this hotel over others. Upon arrival, the Starbucks was under construction and the coffee pot in our room was the main missing part. No coffee, not even at the breakfast provided. Most of he drink machines were empty during breakfast, but the food was good overall. The cable went out due to the rain, I assume, forcing us to watch tv on our phones (it actually never even came on). It also wanted us to pay for an upgrade just to cast our phone program to the TV, not happening. The only "room service" was at Ruth's Chris Steakhouse and their menu was not standard room service food or prices. We couldn't get a reservation there either and had to order "room service" in person only. There were stains on the couch and one on the sheets. The front desk staff did not even look us in the face when being spoken to. When we said something, we got an excuse and not really an apology. The only reason they got a higher score than the lowest amount, is due to the kindness of the valets (which costs $45/night) and the manager trying to make it right for all of these instances, especially on our milestone anniversary. We will not be returning or recommending this hotel.

Nicely located downtown, but lots of “traps” overnight parking $45, the front desk attendant after we asked if there were any cheaper options “suggested” we stayed at Hyatt and got cheaper parking! What?! I guess we will next time!

I loved it my room was clean and quiet it was relaxing

WiFi was terrible. $45 to park (valet) with limited options otherwise. Location was perfect and appreciated the afternoon happy hour, as well as “free” breakfast.
