so close to downtown

As advertising. Clean room. In the heart of downtown nightlife.

Staff was nice, place was clean and comfortable atmosphere.

Property was very nice for the setting. Parking is a little weird, need to check-in before allowed to use on site parking. On site parking is an additional $9-10 that they tack onto your stay. The staff was super nice and helpful. Breakfast was typical "bag" breakfast muffin, boiled egg, juice... Nothing special. The AC/Heating unit in the room is exceptionally loud. The hotel experienced a trespassing issue the night we stayed, though no fault of the hotel did make for an unpleasing experience.

Their staff were excellent. I stayed six days straight and may not have been the quietest guest. Even their security guards were great. We had a blast.

nice hotel, in great location. Quit this time of year with the school out. Room was big and bathroom was nice. Room was a little dated but clean.

I was very pleased by the cleanliness of the room and comfort of bedding. The room was unusually large and furnished with all needed basics: great shower, fine TV, excellent Wi-fi, etc. The front desk people were very courteous. However, room 318 is decorated with the most dreary lack of color (except one bright red chair and a single color print over the toilet) . Several black and white prints on one wall add to the gloom. The view from the large window is a hardscape of concrete and brick. The air conditioner motor noise, combined with that of the outside compressor, was not captivating. Excellent parking in an adjacent garage. Avoid down wind of kitchen garbage in courtyard, especially on a hot day. Note that the adjacent shopping area is a gritty, run down haunt of college students featuring bars and pizza joints. Knowing the disadvantages, would I stay there again? Without hesitation.

Unfriendly staff. Dated interior.aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Good location in downtown Athens, but not worth the price. Sheets were not right for the size of bed and various other small issues. At one point the fire alarm went off every 5-10 minutes for about 3 hours. We received 2 coupons for breakfast as compensation. Overall decent but would not recommend for the price.

Excellent hotel: great location, friendly staff, clean, brand new, parking garage available for a modest daily rate. Would recommend to anybody traveling to Athens that wants to go car free for the weekend and walk around downtown.

Parking and front check-in was hard to find. Took 2 passes down 1 way street to find entrance. Sign would help.

Great experience. Perfect location and incredibly hospitable staff. Cleanliness completely on point and I would recommend this hotel to family, friends and strangers. Thank you Hilton Garden, you made my Athens experience unforgettable.

Charged nearly $10.00 to park in their garage. Breakfast additional $10.00 or so each. Tacky for a Hilton. I expected luxury for the price we paid. We were disappointed at the mediocre room and amenities. We had many other choices in Athens but chose Hilton expecting an above average experience. We'll not stay at Hilton again. Marriott much better quality at equal or lower cost.

Very pleased the staff is friendly, rooms are spacious, clean and beds very comfortable. We walked to a restaurant for dinner. The hotel restaurant had a very limited menu

This location is very convenient to downtown Athens & The University of Georgia. Hotel is clean. Showers are awesome!!

Nice room downtown easy walk to everything. Good amenities, but just stayed overnight.

Excellent hotel for the money, right in downtown Athens. I would recommend this hotel to others.

We stayed at the Athens Hilton Garden Inn and couldn't have asked for a better experience! The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of downtown where all the action is and within a 5 minute drive to the UGA pool. The room was comfortable and all of my crew were able to get a great night's sleep! We couldn't have asked for a better experience.
