Party outside woke me up. Next morning found beer bottles broken with broken glass all over walkway on both 2nd floor and floor beneath. Front desk acknowledged there was a party from 3 to 5 a.m. But they didn't do anything to stop it or clean up the broken glass on both floors as clear as day for 8+ hours until after noon?

Nice variety of choices for breakfast. The veranda architecture with the relative lack of privacy as people walk by your window is not my favorite, but it is what it is.

the facilities was located within a mile from the convention center where i had to travel to each morning. just ideal.

It was a nice overnight stay. It was quiet. Breakfast was good with a nice variety. Bed was comfortable.

Room is spacious and clean. It is convenient to UGA and downtown area. The breakfast has a good variety. The AC is a little bit noisy.

Best point is the location for walking downtown- easy, short walk. Pool is not heated but was great on a sunny afternoon. Beds are comfortable enough and the room was clean. Only down point was the air conditioner; it worked fine but rumbled (noisy).

It was ok It was the most I have paid for this type of property The room seemed clean The staff was ok The property had that old musty smell to it Bed was comfortable I think the price had to do with location and something going with bus loads of kids in town for UGA. I understand how that works. Anywhere else it’s the type of place that would charge 50 dollars a night

The room, a non-smoking toom, smelled like people have smoked in it for 30 years and they have never cleaned or painted to remove the stale smoke smell. All of my clothes had to be cleaned again even though I didn’t wear them. The coverlet had burn holes all over it. The bathroom was functional but barely. Overall it was a pretty gross room.

The front desk people where okay, then I got to the room and it smelled of mold, and there were numerous water stains on the ceiling, the walls were badly wallpapered you could see the glue. The internet was great and for the most part the tv worked good except there was a couple of station that didn’t work. Will not be staying there again. Breakfast was not worth it at all.

I was really surprised. The bed was super comfy! The location was great, only 2.5 blocks from the Georgia theatre. This hotel is definitely worth the money. Did I mention they have free breakfast? Well, they do! And a nice clean pool!! I recommend this days inn if you're going to be staying in Athens.

There were hairs in the sink and shower. The power kept flickering off and on, resetting the tv each time. The view from my hotel room was not kid appropriate (there was a suggestive store billboard).

If you think you are getting breakfast, try again. Its a bunch of Jimmy Dean frozen food that you choose from. The lobby area is disgusting as they are constantly walking around and some management actually sat the entire time (the only time they speak to you is whats your name and are you checking out). They say you can't take your "food" back to the room but you have no choice because the tables are filthy. They douse you room with this cleaning solution but in actuality once you get in there and settled its not as clean as it appears. There was still a dirty wash rag hanging in the shower along with a wet floor mat....If you can tell yourself...it's only for one night then go for it. But it's a little expensive to me for what you get and it sits dead smack in the middle or a questionable neighborhood. Don't expect much....

For the price and location it is what one would expect from an economy hotel. The staff at the front desk were very polite and answered my questions. Room was a bit tired, but again, what you would expect. I was in town for an athletic event at the UGA Equestrian Center and this hotel fit my needs. I would have no trouble recommending this hotel to others. Just keep your expectations in line with the price.
