We had a wonderful stay and the nice young lady that checked us in went above and beyond.

Rated off just the property, I give it 5 stars. It sits right off the water and has a small standing deck. The view was beautiful and the hotel, itself, is beautiful. We've always loved this little town and the main reason for our visit was to celebrate our dads annual life celebration, he was cremated not far from there. Service was ok, I called the morning of arrival and let Bill know that we were going to be in later that evening. I explained the reason for coming and that we'd like to be in a quieter area. He assured me that we'd be on the 4th floor so we wouldn't hear anyone above us and it'd be more peaceful. We show up, only to find that we are on the bottom floor and they gave our "room" to someone else. Only notes the lady can find was that we were showing up later. The lady at the front tried to make it right, gave us a bottle of free wine and a small discount, but it felt like the trip was ruined, before it even began. Other than that mistake, we still celebrated our dad because that's what was important.

Nightly happy hour was a great treat. Awesome water views

Nice place to relax. Room on 4th floor was a bit warm

We loved the view of the river from the room. We were less happy on the day we checked out, when the hotel deactivated our room keys at 11:00a.m. but we were still using the room.

Not high end as advertised. Buffet breakfast was boiled eggs and oatmeal. Evening drinks and snacks not impressive. Did enjoy the ride to the movie in the old car.

This place is great. Nothing negative to report! I loved having a giant bathtub in the room and a balcony literally on the water where you can watch the ducks hunt for food and other birds fly by. The continental breakfast was really great too. This is now my favorite hotel on the Oregon coastal region.

They offer free chauffeur services in vintage cars. The very friendly driver of a '62 Chevy Impala gave me a ride to the nearby beer festival.

Property is very nice with a great location right on the Columbia river. Only a few minor negatives: Continental breakfast is nice, but a few hot food items would be better. They have 2 bikes, which means they may or may not be available when you want to use them. A few more bikes would help. The place is expensive. Can do this for a night or 2, but would go somewhere else for a longer stay.

Amazing view from a high end hotel. VERY HAPPY with our visit

Everything was great except for: WIFI that is incredibly slow and basically worthless. Room was way too hot. Even with dole and window open it was still too warm.

We loved the river side view from our room. Watching the large ships go by was so fascinating. The deck was small but offered the ability to take great photos and watch the sunset from outdoors. We enjoyed the afternoon wine and appetizers, though the morning breakfast was limited to continental fare as they don't have a kitchen. We used the workout room which was ok, but the view was fantastic. The location is great, only had to drive 5-10 minutes to get to restaurants. Could have walked if we had more time for our stay.

Really pretty hotel, complimentary wine hour, friendly check in.
