Very small bed, overpriced

The bathrooms are shared. The facility was in need of maintenance and a bit run down. The neighborhood was not great. I worried about parking my car overnight.

Sheets were stained. Rooms do not have ventilation. Shared bathroom was not ideal.

This is a bed for a night, great for a lay-over as in my case. Bathrooms are shared but very clean, and there is a shared kitchen. My only complaint concerns the linens; my bed sheets looked worn, even stained, although they were freshly washed and clean. There is no saving these sheets as they are way past their prime. I would throw them out as they leave an unnecessary bad impression with your guests.

Clean sheets and good water pressure. No frills. Good service. Would do business again. Good layover.

My husband and I stayed for a week using the Ingra House as our base in Anchorage for daily forays around the area in all directions. The daily staff was courteous, helpful, communicative, and friendly. The room was not large by any means, however it was perfectly fine for a longer stay. We were grateful for the full size fridge as we stocked it with our breakfast foods (prepared in the kitchen right down the hall), our lunch food (taken with us each day), and our fresh caught fish to be sent home. The kitchen was stocked with all the pots/pans and utensils we needed and sharing it was no problem at all. I had initially worried about sharing the bathroom with others. Turns out, it was not near the issue I had imagined. It was always clean. The only issue we encountered was the fact everyone needs to use it in the mornings so getting ready early became our routine. Not a big deal for us as we were anxious to get out sightseeing and exploring anyway. It would be great if there were sinks in the rooms for hand/face washing/teeth brushing/ food prep. But it definitely is not a dealbreaker for us. Our only suggestion is for the bedspreads to be washed. Our sheets and towels were very fresh and clean. Our bedspread was not so much. :^) We are returning in February to experience Anchorage in winter and plan on staying again at the Ingra House.

Property was clean Their were three floors with two bathrooms on each floor. The showers were better than you would find in upscale hotels. Each room had a refrigerator

Location was good for walking to downtown. Shared bathrooms worked fine for us. Nice shared kitchen area. Great price.

I thought the room rate was fair for a summer booking. The shared bathrooms worked out fine and I especially enjoyed the availability of a kitchen. This is an excellent choice for travelers on a budget.

Never stayed in a Hotel like this before but would definitly make this my first call anytime I come to anchorage. The hotel is older and does show some signs of wear, but from the second you walk in all you can smell is how clean it is. Even though we made last second reservations we were treated as if we had been there many times. The bathrooms are shared per floor but again impecibly clean, better than most hotels weve stayed in. I LEFT HERE WITHOUT EVEN ONE COMPLAINT. LOVE THE PLACE Thank you for providing a great service.

The people who work here are fun to chat with and will not allow for unwanted people around the area.

People are friendly and helpful. If you need something just ask and the will help if they can.

Max the manager did a hell of a job.he is a true professional.

Small room with double bed (not queen) and bathrooms/showers down the hall. Very clean room and bathrooms. Common kitchen area for food preparation. Low price for Anchorage compared to name brand hotels and others.

Friendly staff and convenient location. Checked in at 2am with no problem. Bed was comfortable and facilities we clean!

The Ingra House is perfect for someone who doesn't mind taking care of their own room and fixing meals. There is a kitchen on each floor and a couple of bath rooms on each floor. Everything is kept very clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. For those gallivanting around the country it is a perfect place to crash and yet not spend a fortune. I highly recommend it.

Shared bathroom, small room, noisy street, however, the price was in our budget and we were happy with what we got for what we paid. On the plus side, the TV was very good with a wide channel selection, the location very central, free parking, and free (in room) WiFi that worked well. One of the front desk staff (a guy) was very friendly and helpful. On the negative side, the two of us only got one towel for our three night stay, (it would have been better to get two, and a new two after two nights maybe), however we didn't ask for more and didn't care much about it. Returning to the plus side, we'd stay there again.

Thanks for your review, Sojan. Not sure what you booked but we have two bed styles available: 2 twins or 1 full. Both are listed on our property profile. The sizing for those beds is standard. As far as cost, you won't find a better value in the marketplace at this price point.

Thanks for your review, Anon. Sheets, although appearing stained, are just worn out as we're waiting on sheets delayed by supply chain issues. We've been replacing with locally sourced sheets until that order is received. Each room is provided a small fan. Few, if any, small hotels in our Arctic climate have AC. The shared bathroom feature of the hotel is mentioned on our property profile page as well as addressed in two paragraphs of the confirmation message which is sent immediately upon booking.

Thanks for your review, Anon. I couldn't agree more about the sheets; unfortunately, supply chain issues have hampered our ability to get new sheets in time for the season. They are en route; can't get here quick enough for me.
