We like the sitting room, which provides additional space for different activity among my family. The surrounding of the hotel is quite and in walking distance to city center, and next to the bus stop. We enjoyed the stay.

The location is the best. Within walking distance of downtown Anchorage.

The room was fine, just a couple of minor cleanliness issues. The first morning we were there, the shower was not hot, but it always was after that, so probably there were just too many people using the hot water at once. Nice, big TVs and good beds. We didn't really need heating or AC much in May, so I can't speak to that. The side entrance was not working - your key card would not let you in. So we had to walk through the front door every time we entered. A minor annoyance. The door was often propped open with a piece of wood - maybe a security concern. They weren't cleaning rooms during the stay due to COVID, so I can't speak to how well they would have done so. The parking lot is slightly too small, so if you get back to the hotel later in the evening it will probably be full. There is street parking readily available, though, and the meter doesn't need to by paid from (based on memory) 6 PM - 8 AM. Easy, safe walk to the mall and dining options. No strange people hanging out around the hotel or anything like that. Anchorage does struggle a bit with homelessness like any major city, and they can can be found around the mall and tourist area a few blocks away. The hotel is downtown, so not immediately adjacent to major highways, really. However, Anchorage traffic is minimal, and, frankly, the city isn't that big. Overall, I think it was a good value and I would stay again.

This hotel was fantastic. It is updated and the beds are comfortable and the shower is big! The whole facility is very clean and I felt very comfortable during our stay. Due to Covid the restaurant and bar was closed but they had a microwave in the lobby that we were able to use.
