Beautiful appointed boutique hotel with great attention to detail in furnishings and art deco theme . Rooms are modern with very comfortable beds ...high end sheets ..lovely modern bathroom and shower. My only issue with the room is the lack of lighting for reading in the chair. Staff is fabulous. All are very attentive and aware of who needs what at all times. High marks to the chefs for their delicious food and for the servers who also work in the bar. They are all lovely and very efficient. Menu for dinner isn’t huge but has something for everyone. A shout out to Roosje who went out of her way to help after my husband had been hit and knocked down by a cyclist and needed first aid. Thanks also to reception for bandaging his hand. I would highly recommend this hotel for not only its service but also for its great location. Easy to walk everywhere in the city Would definitely stay again.

Great location in the Jordaan district; very quiet but close to the tram line, Anne Frank House, and local grocery store.

hotel is located close to transport and in a nice part of Amsterdam. The area to the immediate north is good for meals and a little shopping. the hotel room was of lower quality than expected. there was a stain on the hotel room carpet that seems to have been there a while. can't be certain I'd gotten bitten by bed bugs, but noticed and felt the bites after waking.

I very rarely provide feed back as most hotels are just mediocre and because of my work I stay at many places. Hotel Mercier is one of these little treasures you have to know about, very well located but just far enough away fron the touristy noise. The hotel is in an authentic building designed in the right mix of old, new and hip. The room was way more spacious then I’m used to in Amsterdam and nicely decorated. Shower with decent pressure. Staff friendly and accommodating. Boutique feel on a democratic budget!

The decor was superb and the staff welcoming and attentive

The hotel location was great- easy to walk everywhere and right near the tram when needed. The property was beautiful and the rooms and beds were very comfortable. As an American, the AC wasn’t as cold as I would’ve hoped. Additionally, I booked a Comfort Double Room for my husband and I which indicated it would be one bed, so I was expecting a queen but we had two twin beds pushed together. The bar served delicious drinks, though the service was extremely slow, so plan for extra time if you plan to indulge.

Centrally located. Not a typical American hotel. Nice taste of Amsterdam!

Very elegant. Close to everything. Food outstanding. Great staff.

The hotel is beautiful and all of the staff were wonderful! Will definitely stay here again next time we are in Amsterdam.

This property is definitely one of the best in Amsterdam. Prices is really worth for it. Rooms are well equipped. Staff are friendly. Location is just max 9-10 mins walking distance from the main center. In one word Perfect hotel

Understated elegance with a welcoming embracing warmth, hints of humor in the design along with a blending of the old and new. Marvelous location in the Jordaan District. Staff reflects all that is the best of Amsterdam. It has a good "vibe". I will be back. Thank you for a lovely visit.
