No valet but otherwise a great stay and good value

The decor was great. Friendly staff

We stayed here as our halfway rest point from California to Kansas, so needless to say we had lots of personal items in our cars. All of our items were guarded throughout the night by their excellent security. The hotel was beautiful, rooms were cozy and classy, there was a spot across the street to take your dog out, and the staff was very professional yet kind. The free breakfast was awesome, it included very generous portion sizes and was delivered directly to our room. If we ever have to come back to Albuquerque, we will definitely be staying here again!

The hotel was historic and beautiful. Unfortunately due to Covid the restaurant was closed although we ordered room service and it was really good. The room was small but nicely furnished and decorated. I would love to come back some time when the whole city is not locked down to see what the town is really like.

The property was unique, charming, and beautiful. Joseph from Reception and Shawn from Security were particularly helpful

Beautiful and historic hotel. Wish it was more open but due to COVID-19 we didn't get to see the library, etc. The staff were very attentive and kind.

Old style. Good and bad. The point of staying and paying for a suite is so the adults can stay the the bedroom and kid on the fold out couch and close the room divide. Well, the AC was only in the living area. Not at all in the bedroom, so our kid was 65 degrees and we were 80. Horrible set up when paying the extra amount.

The architecture was beautiful and I liked the general layout of the first and second floors. The interior design was lovely.

Andaluz review I booked Hotel Andaluz over a year ago in anticipation of bringing my husband to the International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta. We looked at several hotels, and while our first choice hotel was already booked (even over a year in advance) I was excited to stay at this hotel. Unfortunately we did not have the best experience. We called ahead of time and let the hotel know that we had a late flight arrival time but wanted them to know that we would for sure be there for our room. We reserved a studio with a queen bed in it for my husband and myself. Once we got up to the room, we realized they gave us 2 double beds instead of 1 queen bed. We called the desk but they basically said, too bad that’s all we have. Now, my husband and I are used to sleeping in a king bed, so a double bed for 2 grown adults was really not great for us... especially since it was also not what we reserved. In addition, there was no hot water that came from the sink in the bathroom. The man and the desk was quite unhelpful in this regard. The next morning we got up and went straight to the front desk and asked if there was anything they could do (my husband and I also work in customer service so we are always careful and mindful of being as polite as humanly possible). Again we were met with another girl who seemed horribly inconvenienced by the fact that we wanted to be put in the same type of room that we reserved.

Beautiful old hotel, now very much boutique like. Tapas restaurant in the ho

EVERYTHING about this hotel was NOT generic and a pleasant surprise.

Wasn't best place for me with a dog (downtown city location of hotel). No rooms on first floor and only grassy area was a block away and very small area at that. BUT staff was very welcoming to my Jack Jack pup and he got lots of love from them. Rooms 712 was on small side, but comfortable, so if you like lots of room in your room you might want to check out other rooms in the hotel. The common area is cooool and impressive. They have 6 or 7 private areas , which gives a feel of entertaining in your own home/living room. The food was excellent and reasonable priced. I had a dish with hummus and stuff and everything on my plate held its own in unique flavor and compatability. I savored my meal that night. Over all a 5 if I don't concider the needs of my pet.Sorry about spelling errors :)

The hotel is exceptionally and tastefully decorated with art, lighting, and Southwest flair that you just don’t see at most traditional hotels. The rooms are comfortable and clean although smaller than what I am typically use to. The staff were amazingly helpful and attentive, from housekeeping and reception to the bar staff and valets. The hotel is perfectly located downtown Albuquerque within close walking distance to restaurants, coffee shops, bars, and the convention center.
