Drop your checked bags at the Air New Zealand baggage desk at least an hour before you’re scheduled to take off. You’ll be on your Air New Zealand flight in no time.
NZ is the Carrier Code for Air New Zealand. This two-character code is sometimes referred to as the airline identification code, which is assigned by the International Air Transport Association. It's used to standardize and simplify, tariffs, tickets, telecommunications, and more.

Loved the Sky Couch!
good flight, comfortable seat and helpful staff. ... food not so good, but I was in economy premium.....and food is not my first selection.
Simply a class airline
The Lamb and rice meal in coaach was better than most restaurants can make. Free WiFi, comfy seats and friendly staff... I did not want to leave.
Very good for economy flight, better than most US carrier international flights. Would definitely fly NZ Air again. Really like the elevated foot lift. So helpful on long flights.
Movie selection could be better
Amazing service! I did not think any airlines outside Singapore, Emirates, or Qatar had better service, but Air New Zealand has been amazing the last three times I took it.
