Carlton Lodge is a clean, comfortable accommodation. What makes it memorable is the friendliness of the staff and the charm of the hunting lodge motif of the lobby.

very nice place; nice pool but didn't get to use it. Lots of tv channels. They don't have food here now but many restaurants near by. The people who gave this place one star must be nuts!

Room was clean and lodge was quiet. The stay overall was pleasant.

Property was fine but you need to move your breakfast back to 6 AM. 7 AM is too late and was not expected since that is not standard. Most hotels server breakfast at 6 AM. Due to that I was not able to use the amenity that I included in my requirements list for your hotel.

From some of the previous reviews we had pretty mediocre expectations for this hotel. I did not agree with any of the negative comments. The room was nice, fresh, clean and the decor was classic and modern. The bathroom was pristene. Breakfast was plentiful and offered somthing for everybody. The coffee could have been stronger. The pool area was neat and clean with many chaises including cushions. We chose this property for its location and value and I think we made an awesome decision.

Quiet location. Good basic breakfast each morning. No elevator

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The pool and courtyard were well set up to help us relax after traveling.

It was a comfortable, functional place to stay. Clean & neat.

Staff was professional and timely but the property was going through some changes and it looked tired. Then the hot water was broken on the morning it was 37 degrees. They were kind enough to take 15% off my bill for the whole stay so they were responsive, but it needs a little sprucing up.

I absolutely love this hotel. The room was extremely clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly. I explained that I got in extremely late and had a 16 hour drive ahead of me the next day and they allowed me to check out two hours after the normal check out time. Everytime I am in this area, I will be staying at the Carlton Lodge!

Nice hotel, Had issue when checking in as I did not inquire if the hotel had an elevator or request a first floor room. My husband cannot do stairs and our room was on the second floor. The hotel was sold out but the desk clerk was able to move us to a first floor room. Second issue occurred when we returned to find our door ajar. This was very unsettling as there was an event in the meeting rooms directly across from our room. Reported it to the front desk and believe the hotel cleaning staff did not shut the door completely. Thankfully nothing was missing. Exterior entry door states locked 24 hrs a day, but it was open. Needs a few minor maintenance issues addressed. Overall a good stay.

My only issue is that we had asked for a rollaway end it was never delivered. Then I had to follow up to get it removed from my bill.

Stay was OK. Nothing great, just OK. The staff at the front desk were average. A little unprofessional, didn't really engage customers checking in. Didn't tell anything about where our room was, what time breakfast was or when checkout was. Not a big deal but that is normally the summary of what you get when checking into any hotel. Overall it was just average.

Check in was quick and easy. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful about local restaurants and shopping. Room was clean and acceptable.

This hotel is one of the best hotels in Adrian. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The room amentities are pretty standard, coffeemaker, microwave, refrigerator, etc. but they also have tons of TV channels including HBO.

The ladies were super friendly at the front counter! And the room was big enough for my friends and I. Plently of space! Breakfast in the morning was way more than just muffins and coffee! They made scrambled eggs with biscuts and gravey. There was a waffle maker na plently of options for food! Location was hard to find at first but it wasn't too bad. Downtown is just a few minutes down and everything is near-by. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone! It's also cheaper than Holiday Inn!

They could really use an elevator, though. Breakfast was good. Wish the pub had been open on Sun.
